Many real estate companies only file your property on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to market your home. Naert Realty professionals can reach multiple buying audiences using a wide array of marketing techniques. In addition to photographing and creating a detailed description of your home for the Multiple Listing Service (MLS), we may also
use a combination of marketing techniques that include open house events, neighborhood direct mail, real estate magazines, newspapers, e-mail campaigns to other agents and Naert Realty Radio. Your listing will also be included on REALTOR.com, which will give your home nationwide exposure through REALTOR.com partners such as MSN, Netscape and AOL.

What is the MLS and how does it work?
You have probably heard the term “MLS” or the Multiple Listing Service. What is the MLS? An MLS is an organization that collects, compiles and distributes information about homes listed for sale by its members, who are real estate brokers. Membership is NOT open to the general public, although selected MLS data may be sold to real estate listing web sites like NaertRealty.com. MLS networks are local or regional.

Naert Realty belongs to Mid America Regional Information Systems. By
belonging to the MLS, we expose our client’s listings to brokers and agents of all real estate companies in the region. If a broker brings a buyer to a Naert Realty listed property, we agree to pay a commission to the cooperating broker/agent.

So what does all this mean if you’re selling a home? For sellers, the MLS is the best way to expose your home to buyer’s who are actively searching for homes for their clients. Buyer’s agents use the MLS almost exclusively to find properties for their buyers. The MLS is EQUALLY AVAILABLE to all Realtors®. However, it’s how your agent leverages the power of the MLS that counts. Simply having an MLS listing does not guarantee showings.

Since your listing is in competition with many properties on the market, a DETAILED MLS listing is critical to marketing your property effectively.
